Our Chairman, David, has given a talk to new Kent Search and Rescue members on their Induction Day.  David explained who South East 4x4 Response are and how we work with Kent Search and Rescue during searches which require transport for teams, dogs and equipment.  On occasion our responders carry out road searches and provide team protection during these call outs.

Our responders have been out over the past 2 days in the rain and very chilly conditions, supporting Kent Search and Rescue, in the Canterbury area. Our teams have been providing transport for the Kent Search and Rescue teams to and from a wide range of search areas.

South East 4x4 Response were out supporting Kent Search and Rescue teams with transport to and from search areas during a search for a missing person in the Cuxton area over the weekend.

A wonderful morning supporting Chatham Remembrance Parade. Our members along with members from Kent Search and Rescue volunteered their time to manage road closures to keep the parade safe on behalf of Medway Council.

Four of our team of volunteers have been out on a cold, wet afternoon and early evening supporting Kent Search and Rescue with transport for search teams, in the Strood area, looking for a missing person.

This week, we wish to give a massive thank you to all our volunteers, both past and present, for their unfailing support of South East 4x4 Response to ensure that we are a very successful organisation in supporting our communities in difficult times and adverse weather throughout Kent and Medway. Many organisations also rely on volunteers, week in - week out, in order to support and provide support to the many communities and organisations throughout the UK. We thank them all.

South East 4x4 Response members were more than happy to be supporting Kent Search and Rescue with their fund raising 25k and 50k Challenge Trek. Walkers walked from Chatham Dockyard to Eastwell Manor with a final or half way stop at White Horse Wood at the top of Detling Hill. Well done to all the walkers; great team work by SE4x4R and KSAR.

Some of our responders joined the Kent Search and Rescue (KSAR) protective road search training so those being trained know how to shield KSAR members carrying out road searches for missing people. A successful outcome for both SE4x4R responders and KSAR search teams.

South East 4x4 Response are unable to respond directly to assistance requests from members of the public.
