WELCOME TO SOUTH EAST 4X4 RESPONSE
I have the privilege of being the Chief Executive Officer of South East 4x4 Response, a charity run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers with the express purpose of helping our local communities.
We provide logistical support to Kent Police, the NHS, Kent Search and Rescue and many other emergency aid groups, in times of inclement weather or emergencies. The support we provide is by way of dedicated, trained drivers with capable off-road vehicles and emergency equipment, specific to the individual situation. We primarily serve the County of Kent, but we are part of a nationwide organisation and can call on other neighbouring groups for assistance when the need arises.
South East 4x4 Response is a registered charity and our members give up their own valuable free time to help our communities, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. I am extremely privileged to have an incredibly hard working team, from the trustees, to the committee members and indeed all of our many responders, support and associate members.
We assist with keeping roads clear in times of heavy snow or flooding, we transport critical personnel such as doctors, nurses or air ambulance crew when they cannot get through in their own transport and we perform many other valuable community based critical activities, such as delivering welfare to vulnerable members of the public, when the normal systems break down.
Helping the community is at the heart of everything we do.
