As our Secretary, Max oversees recruitment, new member applications and Level 2 Police Vetting requirements. He also records discussions and decisions made in committee and trustee meetings. An active member since October 2021, Max supports a range of events and fundraising activities throughout the year. As both a Responder and one of the Duty Controller Tactical Command team he has been involved in Search and Rescue callouts, Kent Police community liaison, Kent Resilience Forum events, supporting local charities and organisations with road closures amongst other duties. He is a Strategic Commander and one of the Operational Command team should a serious incident arise which requires multi-agency support.
