Exciting news!! We have been given a Divisional Commander’s Certificate of Merit by Detective Chief Superintendent, Angela Chapman, for the support South East 4x4 Response provided during the search for a 16 year old boy in November 2024. Well done to those members of the teams who were out over two weekends providing transport during the extensive search.

Our volunteers have worked exceptionally hard during 2025, giving their time and vehicle use to the many events we supported during the year along with supporting Kent Search and Rescue searches, training weekends, fundraising, parish council events, self-deployments... to name but a few. Well done everyone and thank you!
A massive thank you to Trevor Voisey, Director of Lemon Labels, who has sponsored our South East 4x4 Response stickers this year. We give the stickers out at various events we attend throughout the year.

We are extremely grateful to Logistics and Security, Maidstone, who have kindly donated two fire safety sticks to help equip our two new lottery funded response trailers. The presentation by Lawrence Cullinane and Matt Bassett to Max Webb, Trustee and Information Office, South East 4x4 Response, took place at Leeds Castle
South East 4x4 Response, are celebrating being awarded £10,000 in National Lottery funding. The cheque presented by Helen Bonser-Wilton, Chief Executive of Leeds Castle will support our work with providing voluntary assistance to emergency services, communities, Kent County Council and other agencies, particularly in time of adverse weather and when resources are stretched. We have used the money to replace our pre-existing response trailer with two new trailers and to refurbish the livery on an older trailer.
Our Trailer Replacement/Refit Project has been made possible with a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund. With thanks to National Lottery players and the Government, we have been able to replace and refit our worn out trailer with two new ones which are used for dealing with road closures owing to, for example, fallen trees and supporting evacuation of communities where flooding occurs; providing power and lighting in adverse conditions for incidents away from public roads and supporting our members with extra resources during call outs.
