He is one of the longest serving members, having joined at the formation of the group in 2008, and can be called upon to carry out the roles of Strategic (Gold), Tactical (Silver) or Operational (Bronze) Command, Duty Controller and responder. He has previously held the positions of Treasurer, Social Secretary and Welfare Officer. He has taken part in, and helped to organise, group events and fundraising activities, as well as sometimes attending partner meetings with the Police, NHS, Kent County Council, the Kent Resilience Forum, Kent Search and Rescue, and other user agencies.
